cramer7:20pm: There's ice in there...
The SermpCast will be unavailable until CP&L restores power. (Both to Smerp and Me -- the server doesn't power back up when the power comes back on.)

15th October 2002

cramer7:41pm: NEW IP
Please note the change in IP for shoutcast.troz.com. The old address will cease to function in about a month.

30th September 2002

cramer3:17pm: Patch install time.
As there's nothing to listen to anyway, I'll be installing the latest Solaris 9 patch cluster(s) which will require a reboot.

cramer5:24pm: Transport Failure
<09/13/30@13:18:47> [source] no data (30s timeout). disconnecting.
<09/13/30@14:32:31> [source] connected from 165.247.145.247

The 1.2hr silence you just heard was due to a small transport failure. Oh, and the clock on seamonkey was about 30 years off.

"These things happen."

(And it is Friday the 13th.)

cramer5:51pm: ALGX
The issues with the SmerpCast can be blamed on ALGX (aka Digex.) There is/was a routing issue within their crappy network making life horrible for everyone. (esp. me as I'm the one to whom support comes a runnin')
